You'll recognize this Pinwheel pendant; I posted it a while back and removed it from inventory to create a finished necklace. (Guilty admission: I take days out of the studio to work on finished jewelry and give myself a bit of a break from the heat.)
In the pendant, I used a base glass of a pale green layered over white, with a dusting of oxidized goldstone powder. Goldstone contains a lot of copper, so when it's oxidized, the resulting color is a perfect match for turquoise. The necklace measures 18," with a mix of beads in turquoises and black: turquoise, onyx, jasper, amazonite, and Czech glass beads, with a sterling silver clasp.
